Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Spicy Spark, customer satisfaction is our priority. This policy explains when you are eligible for a refund or cancellation, and how to request one.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Before Kitchen Confirmation: You may cancel your order for a full refund before the kitchen has accepted it. Check your order status in the app or website.
  • After Kitchen Confirmation: Once the kitchen has started preparing your order, cancellation is not possible.
  • Cancellation by Spicy Spark: If we cancel your order due to item unavailability, system issues, or inability to deliver to your location, you will receive a full refund automatically.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if:

  • You received an incorrect item.
  • The food delivered was inedible, spoiled, or unsafe to consume.
  • Your order was not delivered within a reasonable time and you were not notified.
  • A duplicate charge was made to your payment account.
  • Your payment failed but your bank/wallet was debited.

3. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund:

  • Contact us within 30 minutes of delivery (for food quality issues) via:

  • For payment failures, include your Order ID and a screenshot of the deduction.

Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business hours during operating hours (11 AM – 11 PM).

4. Refund Timeline

Refunds are processed via Razorpay and credited to the original payment method. Timelines are from the date of refund initiation and may vary by bank.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind after order preparation has begun.
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer.
  • Food quality complaints reported more than 30 minutes after delivery.
  • Promotional or discounted items (unless defective).
